    November 2011, Morgan City, La.
This proposal is a dynamic, visual navigation system comprised of individual, autonomous units. The units are sensitive to location, orientation, proximity and depth; combining all to create a real time surface visualization of the river floor below. This visualization is achieved by the creation of a glowing effect across the water surface with individual colors representing the correlating water depth. The collective glow created by units forms a real-time bathymetric map of the river which appears to be overlaid on the water’s surface at night.[...]

18 November 2010, Belle Chasse, La.
Belle Chasse park is a design solution that was devised to meet the needs of a broad range of user types. The site consists of several obstacles that are successfully addressed in the design proposal. Surrounded by a residential neighborhood, a US Air Force base, and several large drainage canals the site makes positive use of the space provided while also creating a sense of isolation for visitors. April 2011, Lake Charles, La.
The purpose of this project is to develop a connection between the Calcasieu River water front and the community of Lake Charles at several scales. The first scale to be explored was at the larger regional scale in an effort to understand the relationships of Lake Charles to other features and geographies within proximity to the site. This exploration revealed many waterway connections to more than eight lakes, an intercostal canal, and even the Gulf of Mexico. The second scale to be explored was at the city-wide scale which prompted the need for a greater connection between North and South Lake Charles. The final scale to be explored was at the site scale which consists of North Lake Charles; the area North of Interstate 10 and West of Martin Luther King Blvd. Upon completion of analysis at this scale, a strong disconnection between the Calcasieu River and the community was clearly evident and a solution needed to be determined. [...]

    May 2010, McPherson, KS.
The MeadowLark trail is a completed Rails to Trails project located in Kansas and passing through six cities and totaling over 18 miles of retired Union Pacific Rail Banks. The plan aims to accomodate a variety of user types ranging from joggers, bicyclists, equestrian users, educational, history of rural development, environmental conservation, and provide an endangered species habitat. The plan consists of six trail heads, one each in Lindsborg, McPherson, Galva, Canton, Lehigh and Marion. Several educational stops are located along the trail as well as rest areas and pocket parks within city limits.[...]

    September 2010, Baton Rouge, La.
The site for DeSoto Park is a heavily forested, unused riverfront property located along the Mississippi river, providing several design opportunities. Among the stunning views of the Mississippi River, the location is also convenient to every major attraction that downtown Baton Rouge has to offer. The proposed design is a recreational park which incorporates terracing throughout; successfully creating a language that is evident throughout the entire park. The park is designed to take on different forms as the river level rises due to the terracing and the contours of the park. At the highest river level, the majority of the park would be submerged, leaving the playgrounds, tennis courts, boardwalk, and terraced seating along the tracks elevated above the water. The park also makes a strong connection with Arsenal Park and State Capitol Park through the implementation of greenways and paving design. Parking is linear along the West side of the park, allowing pedestrian access throughout the entirety of the city side of the park. [...]
